support@hdoflix.comIs HDO FLIX really free?+
Yes. No subscription, no in-app purchases and no hidden fees. The whole catalog is unlocked from day one. On a TV, playback runs through the player, which needs its own subscription.
Do I need an account?+
No account is required to browse and watch. Cross-device sync is optional and only turns on if you sign in.
Which devices are supported?+
It is an Android app. It runs on phones, tablets, Android TV and Google TV with Android 8.0 or newer.
Is there an iOS version?+
Not yet — we are actively working on an iOS build and it will be available in the near future.
Can I cast to a TV?+
Chromecast support is on the way, so you will be able to stream to your TV shortly.
Why an external player?+
A dedicated companion player gives the smoothest playback, HDR, subtitle picker and PIP. The app offers to install it on first launch.
Which subtitle languages are included?+
Yes — enabled by default on most titles, alongside 24 other languages.
HDO Box stopped working — what is the alternative?+
HDO FLIX is a separate, unrelated app, but it covers the same need: free movies, TV shows and anime on Android — up to 4K HDR, subtitles in 25 languages, no ads and no account. Download the APK and start right away. Read the full comparison.
Does it work on Android TV and Firestick?+
Yes, on Android TV and Google TV. Version 1.2.4 has a layout made for the remote — install it with the Downloader app and code 4673738. On a TV, playback runs through the player subscription. Fire TV Stick is not supported, because it has no Google Play services. Read the TV guide.
Can I use it on a PC or a smart TV?+
Smart TVs that run Android TV or Google TV are supported. Other TV systems (Samsung Tizen, LG webOS, Fire OS) are not. On a computer you can run it through an Android emulator, but we do not ship a Windows or macOS build.
The app is not playing — how do I fix it?+
Try a different server from the list first — every title has several sources. If it persists, make sure the companion player is installed, update to the latest version, then write to us and we will help.
